GameWhat you seeWhat you work out
Original FarflungA geography prompt and a world mapOne qualifying country per prompt; several answers can fit. Rarer valid answers travel further.
This independent editionFive clues and a selectable mapA correct country, then a less obvious alternative if you know one. Repeat with Unlimited or remove the clock in Wander.
WorldleA country or territory silhouetteThe hidden place in six guesses, using distance, direction and proximity feedback.
GlobleA globe and your guessed countriesA mystery country; colour feedback indicates how close each incorrect guess is.

Choose a game for the skill you want to practise

Choose Farflung for applying geography facts and comparing valid alternatives. Choose Worldle if outlines and directional clues appeal to you. Choose Globle if you enjoy moving across regions with hot-and-cold feedback. In Worldle and Globle, you are searching for a hidden target; in Farflung, a prompt can accept several countries.

Daily play or another expedition now?

The original Farflung’s official FAQ currently says it has no Unlimited mode and offers Past week for recent expeditions. This independently developed site provides repeatable five-round Unlimited games and untimed Wander. Its questions and scoring are separate from the original. Repeatable play can repeat questions; it is not a claim of endless unique content.

Rules differ between games

Do not carry a distance clue’s meaning into another game. Worldle’s official FAQ describes distances between country centres; Farflung kilometres are game points. Country and territory catalogues also differ, so a selectable territory in one game may not be an accepted answer in another.
